Essential Job Functions. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Be in proper dress (wear nametag, etc.) and a professional appearance at all times.
  • Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift.
  • Promptly great guests as they are seated and bring water to table.
  • Reset tables in a speedy professional and effective manner as guests leave the restaurant. Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
  • Between settings promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop. Bussers are responsible for the grooming of the entire restaurant and its perimeters.
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to servers immediately.
  • Assist servers as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods. Support servers and service staff with refills and clearing tables.
  • Thank guests as they are leaving- Superior Guest Service skills.
  • Show flexibility in terms of your schedule to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Restaurant Manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Must have English comprehension skills for purposes of safety, job instructions, policy and guest service.
  • Be on time all the time. Your attendance is essential. Follow all CALL IN procedures if you will be absent.
  • Be a team player; Help out fellow team members when possible.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Physical Demands and Work Environment include but are not limited to:
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, touch, climb, lift, and read (see) for extended periods of time (8 hours+).
  • Must be able to regularly and safely lift and move boxes, supplies, and materials weighing 25 lbs. or more.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and sometimes limited movement environment.
  • Must be able to maintain sanitation, food safety, and other food service environment requirements.
